617 Harbour Oaks Drive

Emmons Realty is proud to present Harbor Oaks 617, a ground floor condo located in a gated, park-like setting with two bedroom, two bathrooms. The foyer leads to a galley kitchen with newer appliances, a small desk area perfect for checking email and a convenient pass through for serving guests seated at the six-person table in the open living/dining room combination. The laundry room, concealed behind bifold doors, is across from the kitchen. Right past the laundry is the first bedroom which includes 2 beds (1 double and 1 twin), a large closet, ceiling fan and a full bath with a single vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom’s 44-inch television includes Netflix, iHeartRadio and Xumo. Exit the bedroom into the combined dining/living room and you’ll see a leather sleeper sofa and two chairs to accommodate five. Pull the dining room chairs into the living area to seat a total of 11 adults. A family-friendly entertainment center (44-inch television, Blu-Ray disc player, DVD player and extensive video library) completes this first gathering area. Lush foliage and a stream can be seen from sliders which open to a quiet patio with a bistro table and seating for two. Past the sliders is a second sitting area with ceiling fan, which accommodates four right outside the primary suite. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, chair, bench at the foot of the bed, 33-inch television, a triple dresser and another ceiling fan. A large custom closet with shelving units, and an oversize bath with single vanity, shower/tub complete the primary bath. A $60 pet fee qualifies your pooch to enjoy your vacation with you. Amenities include a pool, gym and two tennis courts. The unit has one covered dedicated parking space with unsheltered guest parking for six vehicles close by.
Harbor Oaks, a secluded, quiet condominium community just 0.8 miles from the beach, is located in the Village, the island’s downtown. Here you’ll find a variety of restaurants and bars, shopping, a fishing pier, Neptune Park and St. Simons Island Lighthouse. It’s an easy 15-minute walk or five-minute drive to the island’s preferred restaurants and bars, a dog park and two human parks for pickleball, tennis, basketball, and baseball.

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies, so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

Cancellation Policy:
60+ days from arrival - 100% refund
31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund

Inside of 60 days, reservations cannot be rescheduled for any reason

Cancellations will be charged a $65 cancellation fee
(without exception, even for same-day cancellations)

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.


Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Pet Policy: Properties designated as pet friendly require a $99 non-refundable pet fee. Only dogs are accepted. Cats are not allowed. Emmons Realty accepts a maximum of 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 65lbs per dog. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. We cannot allow pit bulls. No exceptions will be made for any part of this policy.

  Our family of 5 spent a week here and had a great stay. The master bed is VERY comfortable and that’s saying a lot bc my husband and I normally struggle with beds that aren’t our own.
  
  We also loved being right next to the pool and just a 5 minute walk to the dog park. And the village is only a few minutes further so a very convenient location.
  
  Kitchen was stocked well and the amount of towels and supplies were very generous. And the whole unit was immaculately clean! Not a speck of sand or dust anywhere.
  
  The only suggestion I can give would be to install the blades on the ceiling fan in the secondary bedroom but even without them, the kids room stayed cool, they just prefer sleeping with a fan on.
  
  Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely SSI property AND for allowing us to bring our fur babies. Great trip, will rebook next time we come to SSI.

  This property is so well located - you can walk to the restaurants, beach, pier, etc. It is in a gated complex - not that that would be a requirement in this area - but it was nice. The local owners that we met were friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well kept and the pool was nice (furniture could sure use an update). There is a small, private patio that we enjoyed - it overlooks a small waterway which runs through the property. The unit itself was dog friendly which was important to us. It was well equipped and the king sized bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The condo was very clean when we arrived and has a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The unit provided covered parking which was very close to the unit. The wifi was very good and the TV's worked well. There is an extensive DVD collection of movies available. The condo, while very comfortable, could certainly use an update and maintenance in furniture, kitchen cupboards, ceilings (popcorn ceilings which are peeling near vents) and bathroom fixtures. Overall we enjoyed our time in this unit but feel it could be so much more enjoyable if the unit had a little TLC.

I believe the manager that you are speaking of is the one that asked you to move your golf cart. She is not an employee of Emmons Realty. Our guests are treated kindly and with respect.     We are glad that you stayed with us. Someone from our company calls the morning after the guest arrives, to make sure the accommodations are satisfactory. There are also, 3 phone numbers, including 1 specifically for television, cable, and internet issues. My guess would be that perhaps someone accidentally pushed the source button, on the remote which made the tv not work. The televisions in that condo are under 2 years old. I do wish that you would have called us and we could have taken care of that so easy for you.
