The perfect vacation getaway, this charming, cozy cottage has been completely renovated. Larger than it appears from the curb, the three-bed and two-bath home comfortably sleeps eight. This house comes with a spacious backyard and screened porch, and is just a stone’s throw from Saint Simons’ village and pier area.

Explore beautiful marshes, untouched beaches and the countless exquisite dining opportunities this island has to offer. Take in fascinating local history with landmarks around every turn and enjoy recreational activities of all kinds on this scenic treasure of Georgia’s southern coastline.

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

Cancellation Policy:
60+ days from arrival - 100% refund
31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund

Inside of 60 days, reservations cannot be rescheduled for any reason

Cancellations will be charged a $65 cancellation fee
(without exception, even for same-day cancellations)

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.


Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Pet Policy: Properties designated as pet-friendly require a $99 non-refundable pet fee. Only dogs are accepted. Cats are not allowed. Emmons Realty accepts a maximum of 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 65lbs per dog. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. We cannot allow pit bulls. No exceptions will be made for any part of this policy. Please pick up after your pet, the deposit does not pay for our housekeepers to clean up the yard.

  Very nice 3-bedroom one floor cottage near St. Simons Village. Emmons Realty was quick to respond to some issues, including a new refrigerator when the old one failed. very nice for dog owners with both front and back yards fenced.   We loved the location of this rental it was close to the downtown village area and walking distance to great restaurants. The beach access was also even closer and if you want to go to the popular east beach is was only a 5 minute drive. The house itself was well stocked and the the beds and furniture were comfortable. The cable and internet worked well. Our dog enjoyed running around the backyard and the screened in porch had updated furniture from the pictures online.

  We loved Sunny Cottage! It was a perfect, albeit short, weekend getaway to meet my daughter half-way. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was extremely clean and well kept. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus for our pup, Mr. Pips, as well as the screened in porch. The only things notable: one fence gate did not close properly, so had to be careful the dog didn't escape. The master and 2nd bedroom mattresses were a tad soft, causing back issues. All in all would definitely stay again.

  The house was great! It was very nice to have the fenced in yard and screened in porch. It made it very easy to leave our dog, when we had to!   What an adorable cottage style home we rented for 4 nights. We brought our two dogs as we had heard they have off leash beach privileges after Labor Day. We found the perfect place where they were able to run around with the local pups at the tip of St Simons called East Beach! Iguanas restaurant was our favorite place to sip cosmos and enjoy the local shrimp. They went above and beyond to make our pooches comfortable on the outside patio.
  Our home away from home was perfect... central location...very clean and well stocked with towels, sheets, pillows and kitchen supplies. We so enjoyed having both front and backyards fenced. I highly recommend this property... with or without your fur babies!!!

  The home is surprisingly larger than its street appearance. Decor is very nice and we had everything we needed. We were in town to purchase a home. The location was great for everything from eating out, to the village and to the beach. The yard was great for my 2 dogs.   I can’t say enough great things about this home. From the road it appears small but it’s full of amazing surprises. The house is beautiful. The bathroom floor in the master bedroom was my favorite. Absolutely amazing. The back yard is very big and our dog enjoyed playing in it everyday. It has a privacy fence and a great screened in porch. Just a couple blocks from the beach. I suggest to rent bikes from island bike rentals. Our family can’t wait to visit the island again and would recommend this home 100%.

  I booked the house for my boyfriend's 50th birthday weekend. He knew we were going to St. Simon for the weekend, but had no idea family from AL, friends from FL and GA were also going to be there. The home was beautiful and so accommodating to all of us and even the dogs. There was plenty of room so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The back porch was a great relaxing area for all of us. House is in close proximity to everything St. Simon's has to offer. The property management company contacted me to ensure that we had gotten in alright and that everything was satisfactory. Thank you so much for such a wonderful 50th bday experience. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and plan on coming back.

  This cottage has so much charm, perfectly renovated. I brought my dog Chino and my parents for a short stay. The backyard is huge, Chino had so much fun chasing the squirrels and laying in the sun.   Property is as advertised. Comfortable in good location. Well furnished. Be prepared for some unevenness in interior floors apparently due to added on area and different flooring types. Pay attention or you'll trip. There was no dishwasher detergent which was disappointing because guests are asked to run it before leaving. Recommend maintenance on front porch stairs so they are same level as porch and also gutter over entrance area. It rains a lot in Florida. Slight miscommunication as to early arrival time cleared in advance, but housekeeper was just finishing so all was well.

    We thank you so much for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. You are right, the area of the house that has been added on to, does have a step up. It had not been an issue before but we will certainly look at what can be done to let our guest know to be aware of it. We are glad that we were able to accommodate you with an noon check in. The dish pods were on the shelve to the right of the sink and we are always able to be reached by the 4 phone numbers provided. We pride ourselves on dealing with any issues or needs, quickly.. The roof line extends to cover the front step and I'm not sure how much that would help with venturing out in the rain, but we do appreciate your suggestions. We are glad that you found the cottage comfortable, hope that you enjoyed the island and that we see you again soon.
