60+ days from arrival - 100% refund

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.


Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Pet Policy: Properties designated as pet-friendly require a $99 non-refundable pet fee. Only dogs are accepted. Cats are not allowed. Emmons Realty accepts a maximum of 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 65lbs per dog. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. We cannot allow pit bulls. No exceptions will be made for any part of this policy. Please pick up after your pet, the deposit does not pay for our housekeepers to clean up the yard.

  I was traveling with a friend and two senior dogs. We had a great 3 day trip despite some rain. So much to see and do on the island. This rental is close to beach, restaurants, and shops. Loved the beach theme decorations and the fenced yard for our pups. I highly recommend stopping by the visitors center. They give u maps and shared good touristy info with us. This was my second time visiting the area and would definitely rent this home again. It was clean with comfy beds and furniture. I read one review that mentioned bugs but we did not have any problem like that. Highly recommend this rental.

  We rented for a 17 day stay. We were thrilled with the location, close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and a brewery. The cottage itself was tastefully decorated, had a great kitchen, two KING suites w/bathrooms, and a nice private upstairs bedroom with two twins and a bath. There was plenty of parking out front. The rear deck was a good size, but we spent most of our time on the front porch. Love this and will likely re-rent when we come back. Love St. Simons.

  This home is outstanding- Very clean and has everything needed for a vacation away from home. There are 4 tv's and Xfinity! Each bedroom has a bathroom. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor have king beds which slept like new. The home is well maintained- very clean!
  The location is perfect, walking distance to beach and all restaurants.
  Emmons Realty was very helpful with the rental process from the beginning, I rented directly from them and received a call a week before check-in with the contact person and her cell number should I have any problems.
  I will stay in this home on my next trip to St. Simons!

  We spent a great week at the rental house at 1126 Ocean Blvd in St. Simons. The house is beautifully renovated, well-stocked and very conveniently located. Beaches are 2 blocks away. "Downtown" is a short bike or golf cart ride away. Ample parking. Nice dog run for our pup. The house isn't large but that was its best feature: everyone had their own bath but the open floor plan of the living/dining/kitchen area kept everyone engaged with each other while playing games, dining, cooking and watching TV. Our only suggestions would be to make streaming channels available (we would have enjoyed access to our Netflix/Hulu/etc. accounts. If this is already there, perhaps better instructions on how to switch from the cable TV to those streaming services. Believe it or not though, we survived without them! LOL. Seriously, would recommend this house to anyone considering it.

  1126 Ocean was a treat! Beautifull appointed in beach-themed decor, very clean and well-supplied with everything you might need for a family vacation. Comfortable beds and bedding.Very close to beach,(two blocks away) a walk to shops and bike rental. Went did guided kayaking with the the surf shop a block away. Due to Covid restraint, we were able to order food to go from Crab Daddy's and enjoy our meal at the house. Got on the bike lane, headed north to the river mouth, a 10 minute flat bike ride by the marsh-SUNSET was stunning! This house accepts pets. We don not bring our pup, but the backyard seemed pet-friendly with two secure gates. Five stars all around. Emmons Realty was great to work with.

  The house was clean, conveniently located, fully stocked and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the house almost as much as the beach. It was very pet friendly. We ate twice at the Barrier Island Brewery which was about a block from the house. Mostly we cooked and the house had everything we needed in the way of cooking utensils and pans. We mostly relaxed at the beach but also went to the pier and to Jekyll Island. We couldn’t get the dishwasher, fireplaces, or streaming services on the TVs to work but we just hand washed our dishes and were out and about so much that the fireplace and TVs didn’t really matter. All in all it was a wonderful week.

The pilot light had blown out on the fireplace. We would have been happy to send someone over to light it if we had known but it sounds like you guys were having a good time anyway. There is cable at the property and you can put in your Netflix codes or use any streaming apps that you have subscriptions to.   This property met our expectations. We had a great time will rent again when we return to SSI. As with any rental some minor stuff exists - The can opening had a stripped gear - would only open about 1 inch and then it needed fussing to get another inch.

  Only 2 short blocks to the beach, a one-mile walk to Pier Village and a block from Crab Daddy's, this home is ideal for families with children or a couple with occasional visitors. The home was clean and ready for occupancy when we arrived. Check-in was simple and the Emmons Realty staff courteous, friendly and professional, providing exceptional service on a Saturday morning when the kitchen sink leaked. Even though it's located on the main artery on the south end of the island, street noise was rarely heard. And with a front patio and a back deck and fenced-in yard, there was was plenty of outdoor space for everyone, including our dog.

The house floor plan is great for a family travelling with children. With a TV in every room and a separate bedroom/bath with sitting area on the second floor, the house offers privacy and some peace and quiet as well. The Emmons Realty staff were friendly and professional and responded quickly with emergency plumbing assistance when the kitchen drain leaked buckets of water under the sink on a Saturday morning. We had hoped to rent this property again in January and February 2022 but the house was already reserved for February.

  Two downstairs king masters made it very easy for 2 couples to each have their own space.

  We were displaced from our original cottage just 2 weeks before our selected weekend. That could have been tragic, but Emmons Realty came through and chose Sea Glass Cottage for us! They took care of all our new arrangements and checked back several times to make sure we were happy. What an amazing cottage! Beautifully decorated, and plenty of outdoor space on deck for our gatherings! Even a nice privacy fence on 2 sides of home for our dogs to have a run area. All new remodeled kitchen with upgrades galore. And the king beds might have been the best comfortable. I will not rent from anyone except Emmons in the future. They really made sure our stay was wonderful!And almost forgot to mention. Just 300 yards from the Beach near King and Prince. A perfect holiday!

  WOW what an awesome house!! Just steps from the beach this home has it all! The two main floor large master bedrooms have extremely COMFORTABLE king beds and great bathrooms and the twin beds and sleeping chair upstairs was perfect for our children. This home is gorgeous with beautiful furnishings and a fabulous kitchen that has extremely nice appliances and everything you need! We loved the huge deck, front patio, and outdoor space with the privacy fence for our dog. It literally took just minutes for us to walk to Crabdaddy's and Beachcomber to eat.
