Rent bikes from Ocean Motion (10 minutes by foot), walk to Crab Daddy’s (12 minutes) for red snapper and a world-class baked potato—we have the recipe, but we’ve been sworn to secrecy—and spend the afternoon tracking down the mystical tree spirits of St. Simons. This quaint cottage could not have been more perfect! It had everything we needed and the location was close to anything we wanted to do. The old charm of the home was preserved but the amenities were very modern. Loved the walk in shower! We loved it! Would stay again for sure!

We had a lovely time in SSI and our stay in this cute cottage. It was a very convenient location, we just walked across the street to the beach access on 5th street. It was a good fit for my husband and me and our three kids. I do have to say the bathroom downstairs is only a good fit for a child. Very very tiny. The beds upstairs were super comfortable, the bed in the downstairs bedroom was not. Overall,we really loved the cottage. Its decorated beautiful and very cozy!

We absolutely adored this cottage! We had plenty of room for our family of six with a bedroom to spare. Three bedrooms upstairs, including two bedrooms with kings and one with a set of twin beds. Sharing the bathroom upstairs. Downstairs was perfect, with the the fourth bedroom with queen and bathroom. Living room with games, full tv options, and super cozy. Beautiful dining room between living room and kitchen. Kitchen is large and very clean. This is a corner lot just a block and half from a beach access. We rented a golf cart and feel one must to do if able! It was so nice and fun to cruise around the island on! Please look under beds for additional fans, chairs and such. We only discovered this when leaving! We loved our stay and would highly recommend. My one and only concern would be for the bathrooms being slightly smaller for anyone that maybe a factor... we will most definitely stay again. We highly enjoyed the side porch in the afternoons for reading and wine! In sum, beautiful place and super clean!!

This was our first vacation since COVID-19 started being noticed in March 2020. We had two families together (4 kids ages 7 yrs to 7 months old) for a week. The space is great for this size group. It is an older property but is well maintained and appointed. The kitchen provided a great space to cook and feed everyone in the same room. The full size laundry and outdoor hose/showers allowed us to get cleaned up quickly following daily beach trips. The family friendly beach is only a 3 minute walk away (the main lighthouse area only a few minutes more)! The only downside to the property is the lack of a bathtub for young children and a large amount of glass/breakable décor that you may have to play keep away with. Overall, it's a comfortable house to entertain a fairly large group!

We stayed in the house for 3 weeks between mid-February and early March. The house is everything presented in the photos and more. I was concerned that the photos portrayed and idyllic version of the home but it truly is an incredible home. We had a few groups of family and friends come visit at different times throughout the visit and every time their reaction was the same: "wow this house is so perfect for a beach vacation." Walking distance to multiple restaurants, the beach, and a short drive to the grocery store.
Loved everything about our time here. We miss it already!
