THE SPACE
This St. Simons Island vacation rental is located in the highly sought-after Coast Cottages community on East Beach, offering private beach access, a heated oceanfront pool, and walkable proximity to the Coast Guard Station and WWII Home Front Museum. The pool is heated during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks, and from March 15 through April 15. Heating is also available outside of those dates for a daily fee with advance notice.

The cottage is elevated with two dedicated parking spaces below and is just a short walk or bike ride from the island’s best spots—start your morning with fresh pastries from Dolce Dough, rent bikes or browse gifts at High Tide, or end the day with oysters at The Half Shell by the pier. Each bedroom features direct access to a private outdoor space—plus, the home includes a marsh-view front porch, a Char-Broil gas grill, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.

Inside, the bright two-story layout features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a generous dining area with seating for six, and a coastal living room with high ceilings, natural light, and a 50-inch smart TV.

Two queen bedrooms are located on the main floor, each with ample closet space and doors leading to private patios. These rooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a stacked washer/dryer.
Upstairs, the primary suite includes a king bed, seating area, smart TV, ensuite bathroom, and access to its own private balcony—perfect for slow mornings or late-night stargazing.

It was the first time to the island and we loved our house rental. It was a perfect location, close to the beach and within walking distance to shops & restaurants. Loved that we had a green space across from us to look out at and very little street traffic. The home was clean, bright, comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had a very nice stay in St Simons. The home was nice and everything we needed was available. The home was equipped with Xfinity cable and also Roku for other streaming services. The walk to the pool and beach area took just a few minutes. The home was located in a walking friendly area as well. Lastly, the property manager was very communicative. We will be back.

We absolutely loved the Coast Cottage for our stay in St. Simons. It was charming, had ample space of our family of four to relax and hang out together in the space, and was in a great location on the island. The pools on site were also great. We will definitely stay here again for future trips down to St.Simons!

We loved the house and location... very clean and well furnished, etc. However, one guest bedroom downstairs had a mattress that was so unbearable that it made it impossible to sleep with another person in the bed. If one person moved, then it shook the entire bed.. it was so bad one person had to sleep on the sofa every night. this was disappointing given the price we paid for the home. We hope this mattress or bed gets replaced ASAP.

We stayed with two other couples, all in our 60’s and tall. We were comfortable in the living room and had good meals around the table several days while enjoying lunch at local restaurants the other days. Kitchen cooking supplies were fine but could use a 9x13 pan or Pyrex of some sort.

We loved our stay here. The house is lovely - very clean, modern, comfortable, and bright. The master bedroom is fantastic - very spacious! The two downstairs bedrooms are smaller, which worked for us as we had kids staying in them. Although technically this place holds 8 guests, I don’t think you’d want more than 6 adults/teens to keep it comfortable. We loved the location - quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, and easy bike ride into town. The pool is also very nice and was a great perk. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is very well appointed and was very clean. Beds comfortable. AC works very well. Just a short walk to the pool and beach, and a quick drive to all that St. Simons has to offer. Beautiful view off the porch.
